Reinventing Ecology in the Anthropocene

Human populations and their use of land have transformed most of the
terrestrial biosphere into anthropogenic biomes, or anthromes.  This
presentation explores the emergence and ecology of the anthropogenic
biosphere we have created and its challenges for environmental science and
education as we embrace our role as planetary stewards in the
Anthropocene.
