The lecture is presented by Ariane Chebel d'Appollonia, an Associate Professor at the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers-Newark. Her talk will explore the increasingly complex relationship between immigration, internal security, border controls and the integration of immigrants.

Immigration, Security, and Democracy is the first of six lectures in the Emergent Opportunities and Threats: The Rutgers Dialogue on Global Issues Lecture Series, a joint initiative between the School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers New Brunswick and the Division of Global Affairs at Rutgers Newark.
