Anna Klobucka Ph.D. (Harvard) is one of the world’s leading feminist scholars of Portuguese literature. Author of The Portuguese Nun: Formation of a National Myth  (2000) and coeditor of After the Revolution: Twenty Years of Portuguese Literature 974-1994 (1997) and Embodying Pessoa: Corporeality, Gender, Sexuality (2007), her latest monograph, O Formato Mulher: A Emergência da Autoria Feminina na Poesia ortuguesa (2009), examines the emergence of female authorship in Portuguese poetry.  She is also the lead author of the first edition of Ponto de Encontro: Portuguese as a World Language (2007).
