Philip Zimbardo is internationally recognized as “the voice and face of contemporary American psychology” through his widely seen PBS-TV series “Discovering Psychology.”

In this talk, Dr. Zimbardo explores why people go wrong and how good people turn evil but also what makes ordinary people engage extraordinary good deeds and acts of heroism. The steps down the slippery slope of evil are illustrated through classic social psychology research including the Stanford prison experiment, with parallels drawn to Abu Ghraib.

Reception and book signing to follow.
